The post self-locks when it is manually returned to the upright position. The MySpot **0 is the only product of its kind to incorporate a defense mechanism against accidental impacts. If a force in excess of *0 Kg (*0 lbs) is applied to the post, the post will yield. When the offending force is removed, the post will rebound to the upright position. If a car forces the upright post intentionally and drives into the parking space, the post will lodge under the car and may cause damage to the undercarriage when the car pulls out.
